This short essay covers my personal and gradual approach towards the topic of secular spirituality. Integrating works by the philosophers Thomas Metzinger and Joachim Kahl, whose works were freely accessible, I began by discussing the concepts of “secularism” and “spirituality” individually, and subsequently attempted to relate them to one another.
